The Petitioners who are Project Affected Persons and have moved a request letter to the District Collector dated 4th July, 2023 seeking financial assistance for a cattle shed, are aggrieved that the said request is still not considered.

The learned AGP submits that the District Collector's office is neck deep into election duties.

We are of the view that since the matter pertains to cattle shed and this region is now reeling under severe summer and heat, it would be appropriate to direct Respondent No.2 to decide the application within 15 days.

With the above direction to Respondent No.2, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
