The only grievance of the Petitioners is that their pending Application under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1984, be decided within a particular time line.

The learned AGP submits, on instructions, that the concerned authority will verify as to whether there are any appeal proceedings pending. If there is no legal impediment, the said application would be decided within a period of 120 days, by following the due procedure laid down in law.
