Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner. 2.

The petitioner is seeking to put up a challenge to the order passed by the respondent No.2 - Divisional Commissioner purportedly under Rule 18 of the Prisons (Bombay Furlough and Parole) Rules, 1959 which provides for a remedy of appeal to the authority mentioned in the proviso.

In the light of availability of suitable statutory remedy of challenging the order, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The appeal shall be considered irrespective of the delay and shall be decided as expeditiously as possible.
