The petitioner is challenging the order passed by the Tahsildar in purported exercise of the powers under Section 48(7) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

In the light of the mechanism for preferring the appeals against the orders passed by the Revenue Officials, as laid down in Chapter XIII of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to resort to the remedy under Chapter XIII.
