The petitioners pray that the order dated 21-12-2021 passed by respondent No.2 to the CEO, Zilla Parishad, Osmanabadrespondent No.4, directing him to commence the enquiry under Section 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act against the Sarpanch, has not been implemented.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 3.

As the learned AGP has appeared on behalf of respondents/

(2) wp5360.22 State, we direct respondent No.2 to issue an appropriate order to respondent No.4 to commence the said proceeding, if not already commenced, within a period of 30 days.
