Heard. Respondent No.2/informant filed affidavit giving her consent to allow the present application. The affidavit has been duly sworn in before a notary public. A copy of decree of dissolution of marriage with the consent of parties has also been placed on record. One of the terms therein suggest Respondent No.2/Respondent agreed to give consent for quashing of the criminal proceedings initiated at her behest.

The offenses alleged to have been committed by the applicants are punishable under Section 498-A, 354-A and allied Sections. Considering the nature of offences and the fact that the marital relationship between the applicant No.1 and Respondent No.2 informant have been dissolved with a decree of divorce, wherein Respondent No.2 had agreed to withdraw all the Criminal Cases instituted at her behest, we allow the application in terms of prayer clause (B).
