Heard the learned Advocates for the respective parties. Perused the Petition paper-book with their assistance. 02.

It is beyond debate that if two examinations are scheduled on a common/same date and if the examinations clash or create grave hardships and manifest inconvenience to the students, the request to alter the dates can be considered, in certain circumstances. At times, a candidate would be required to choose one amongst the two examinations. Such issues can be resolved in advance, so as to avoid clashing of dates.

As of now, the Maharashtra LL.B. five years CET (5 years integrated course) is scheduled on 18.05.2024. The learned Advocate for the Petitioner concedes that as on date, there is no other examination scheduled on 18.05.2024, in as much as, polling in the State of Maharashtra is not scheduled on 18.05.2024 for the General Elections. 04.

In view of the above, we are not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition and the same is, therefore, disposed off. 05.

However, we record that if any examination schedule is declared by any University in the State of Maharashtra, which is likely to clash with the above stated examination schedule on 18.05.2024, the Petitioner is at liberty to approach the Authorities or this Court, well in advance.
