The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the Headmaster of the Institution has forwarded proposals seeking approval to the appointments of the petitioners as Higher Secondary Teachers, however, the same are not yet decided.

The learned AGP accepts notice for the respondent - State, the Regional Deputy

2 3-WP-2304 and ors Commissioner, Social Welfare, Latur and the Assistant Commissioner, Social Welfare, Osmanabad and submits that in case the proposals are pending, the authority would decide the same on their own merits.

In view of the above, we pass the following order :- (i) In case the proposals forwarded by the Headmaster seeking approval to the appointments of the petitioners, are pending, the authority concerned shall decide the same on their own merits and in accordance with the provisions of law, expeditiously and preferably, within six months from today.

(ii) With these directions, the Writ Petitions stand disposed of accordingly. No costs.
