ORAL JUDGMENT :

Rule. Mr. A.S. Shinde, learned AGP for respondent waives service. By consent of parties, Rule is made returnable forthwith. 2.
By this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus against the respondent to issue the Tribe Certificate in the format of the Central Government in favour of the petitioner as belonging to 'Mannervarlu' Scheduled Tribe.

The respondent has already issued a certificate in Form 'C'. The petitioner requires certificate in accordance with the Central Government'
s Format which is required to be submitted to the University of Karnataka.

We accordingly direct the respondent to issue such Tribe Certificate in the Central Government's Format within four weeks from today without fail. Writ petition is allowed. No order as to costs. Rule is made absolute in aforesaid terms.
