Petitioner claims to be belonging to 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe and is in receipt of certificate issued by the competent authority containing necessary certification. Caste certificate issued in favour of petitioner is referred to respondent no. 2 Scrutiny Committee for verification together with the proposal on 20.01.2015 and, the proposal is stated to be pending. 2.

In the facts of the case, this petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to respondent no. 2 to take decision on the caste certificate verification proposal tendered by petitioner pending with the Scrutiny Committee, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight months from today and, it is accordingly directed. Respondents 3 and 4 are directed to permit petitioner to prosecute further studies however, subject to decision of the verification claim in respect of certificate issued in favour of

{2} WP4675.16.odt petitioner. Respondents 3 and 4 are further directed to permit petitioner to appear for university examination and shall also declare result so as to facilitate him to prosecute further studies. 3.

With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
