All these Petitioners are identically placed. All of them have tendered the representations seeking regularization of their encroachments.

Needless to state, after the decision in Jagpal Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab and others, (2011) 11 SCC 396 and the decision of the Division Bench of this Court in Suo-moto Public Interest Litigation No.02/2022 (High Court on it's own motion Vs. the State of Maharashtra and others), we would not be issuing directions to the State Government with regard to prayers for regularization of encroachment.

Since the Petitioners have tendered the representations, which are pending for quite sometime with the State Government, taking into account the law laid down in Jagpal Singh (supra) and the order of this Court in Suo Moto PIL No.2/2022 (supra), let the representations be dealt with within a period of 90 (ninety) days from today. We make it clear that we have not made any observation as regards whether, the representations should be considered favourably. 4.
With the above observation, all these Writ Petitions are disposed off.
