The petitioner has putforth prayer clause "B", which reads as under :- "B) By issuing appropriate writ or order the proposal dated 02/02/2022 submitted on 04/02/2022 to the Res No.2 may kindly be directed to decide within specific period."

The petitioner cites an order dated 20.04.2022 passed by a coordinate Bench in Writ Petition No.3895 of 2022, filed by Shri Jogdand Hanumant Laxman Vs. State of Maharashtra and Another.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that respondent Nos.3 and 4 are formal parties. No relief is sought against them. They have already forwarded his proposal dated 02.02.2022, which has been received by respondent No.2 on 04.02.2022.

The learned AGP submits that the said proposal would be decided on merits within eight weeks.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. Respondent No.2 would decide the said proposal as expeditiously as possible and in any case on or before 15.09.2022. If the order is adverse to the interest of the petitioner, the same shall be communicated to him within ten days. He would be at liberty to assail the same, as may be permissible in law. [ANIL L.
