T.V. NALAWADE AND SUNIL K. KOTWAL,JJ DATE : 28th FEBRUARUY, 2019.

ORAL ORDER :- The learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for permission to add Caste Scrutiny Committee as respondent and relief against it to decide the caste claim of the petitioner. Submissions made shows that when the petition was filed, the petitioner wanted the relief of direction to the respondents to allow him to appear for examination. Interim order was made by this Court and accordingly she was allowed to appear for the examination. As she was given admission as reserve category candidate, the result of the examination cannot be declared unless and until there is decision on the caste claim. In view of the circumstances, the petitioner is allowed to make amendment in the proceeding to add the relief.

The relief is also granted to the effect that the Caste Scrutiny Committee should take decision on the claim of the petitioner within six months from today and after the decision of the Caste Scrutiny Committee, if it is in favour of the petitioner then result is to be declared. Caste Scrutiny Committee is to be added as party respondent. The learned Additional Government Pleader is directed to represent the Caste Scrutiny Committee.
