By filing this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is seeking direction to respondent No. 2 to correct the service seniority list published on 5.2.2017 for the appointments of Class III and Class IV employees from Village Panchayat in Osmanabad District for the 10% quota in the Zilla Parishad.

According to the petitioner, he had made several representations in respect of the aforesaid grievence including the representations dated 17.11.2016, Exh. E and 7.4.2017, Exh. G, but the same have not been considered and decided as yet.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the only prayer made by the learned counsel for petitioner is to dispose of the petition by directing respondent No. 2 to consider the petitioner's aforesaid representations and take appropriate decision on it in accordance with law.

In view of the aforesaid limited prayer, we dispose of the petition by directing respondent No. 2 to consider and take appropriate decision on the petitioner's aforesaid representations in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, but in any case not later than two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, the petition is disposed of.
