The Petitioners pray that the proposal dated 10.04.2023 submitted by Respondent No.3 to the office of Respondent No.1, be decided expeditiously. The learned GP submits that the said proposal would be decided within 90 days.

The learned advocate for the Petitioners submits that it should not so happen that the Code of Conduct for the State Assembly Elections is declared and the proposal is not decided.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. Respondent No.1 would decide the said proposal within a period of 90 days from today.

In the event of any Code of Conduct being invoked, that would not be an impediment for deciding the same.
