DATE : 8th July, 2022 P.C.:- By present application, the applicants who are legal representatives of appellant no.3-(original claimant) are seeking to bring on record their names in place of appellant no.3 as legal representatives. The appellant no.3 expired on 16.10.2010.

Learned advocate for the applicants submit that there is no delay in filing application in view of order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Suo Moto Writ Petition No.3/2020 extending the limitation period from 23.03.2020 to 28.02.2022. The application has been filed on 20.04.2022. It is argued that the application having been filed within 90 days from 28.02.2022, there is no delay.

Learned AGP would concur with the submissions made by the applicant.

In view thereof, the application is allowed. Legal representatives of appellant no.3 be brought on record within two weeks from today. Amended copy be served upon respondents thereafter. Application is disposed of in above terms.
