Mr. Manorkar, learned advocate for respondent No. 2 states that for the relief claimed in the petition the petitioners have an alternate remedy before the Arbitrator. 2.

The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that petitioners are disputing the base rate granted. Earlier taking recourse under the National Highways Act, 1956 the better compensation was awarded and this court directed the authorities to consider the provisions of Right to Fair

2 wp 6125.17 Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and now the compensation amount is reduced.

The petitioners can agitate all these aspects in a petition filed before the Arbitrator for enhancement of compensation. 4.

In light of above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach the Arbitrator. All contentions are kept open. No costs.
