PER COURT :- The petitioners are praying for issuance of directions to delete the names of 142 voters from the final list of voters, for election of respondent No.4 society.

In view of the Judgment of Apex Court in the matter of Sant Satguru Janardhan Swami (Moungiri Maharaj) Sahakari Dugdha Utpadak Sanstha & another V/s State of Maharashtra and others (2001 8 SCC 509), since the process of election has commenced, no interference in the on-going process of election which is likely to create impediment, shall be caused. In view of the above, writ petition stands rejected, keeping open option of the petitioner to avail of alternate remedies available in law as and when the occasion arises. (V.K.
