We have considered the submissions of the learned advocate for the petitioners and learned advocate for respondent Nos. 1 to 5. 2.

Shri Suryawanshi, learned advocate representing respondent No. 5 places on record the copy of the proposal forwarded to the Deputy Collector, Land Acquisition (Co-ordination), Beed dated 23.09.2021 which is marked as "X-1" for identification. He states that the proceedings will have to be initiated by the competent authority under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (hereinafter

Act of 2013'), which prescribes period of one (01) year. 3.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent Nos. 3 and 4 to complete the proceedings as per the provisions of the Act of 2013, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 30.08.2023. If the proceedings have already been initiated, the same shall be concluded within a period of twelve (12) months from the date of initiation of the same. ( ANIL L. PANSARE ) ( RAVINDRA V.
