Learned advocate for the applicant prays for stay to the impugned judgment and award dated 11-12-2023 by which the applicant is directed to pay an amount of Rs. 5 lakhs to the claimants.

learned advocate for the caveator has opposed the application.

However, justice would be met by granting stay subject to condition of depositing the entire amount as per the award alongwith interest till the date of depositing the amount. The applicant is, thus, directed to deposit the amount alongwith interest within six weeks from today.

Learned advocate for the caveator is at liberty to apply for withdrawal of the amount thereafter. 5.

The application stands disposed off.
