PER COURT:- 1.

The petitioner is issued with the caste certificate by the S.D.O. Thane. However, it is contended that, the petitioner is permanent resident of Kandhar, Dist. Nanded and the place of the petitioner's ancestors permanent residence on the notified date is the place of jurisdiction. 2.

The petitioner shall file online application for issuance of the caste certificate with S.D.O., Kandhar within three days. The petitioner shall also surrender the original caste certificate received from S.D.O., Thane with S.D.O. Kandhar. The S.D.O., Kandhar shall verify about the permanent residence of the petitioner and her ancestors on the notified date and if satisfied, shall consider the issuance of caste certificate to

(2) 968-wp-6726-2021 the petitioner. The said process shall be done within four weeks from the date of filing of the online application and surrender of the original caste certificate before him.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
