The Petitioner has completed his MBBS course and also internship. However, his degree certificate and internship certificate are withheld only because his claim of belonging to "Mannervarlu", Scheduled Tribe, category is pending validation since 2014.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with the following directions:- (a) The claim of the Petitioner shall be decided by the Committee on or before 31.08.2023.

*2* 938wp4601o23 (b) The Petitioner would render wholehearted cooperation to the Committee for the expeditious disposal of the claim and would not seek adjournments on unreasonable or trivial grounds, lest the Committee would be justified in progressing to the next stage in the proceeding. (c) The College shall issue the internship certificate of the Petitioner.

(d) The degree certificate of the Petitioner shall not be issued until the claim of the Petitioner is decided, in the light of the order passed by the Honourable Supreme Court dated 31.01.2022 in Maharashtra University of Health Sciences vs. Madhavi Ramrao Thakur and others, Petition for Special Leave to Appeal (Civil) No.866-867/2022.
