It is informed that the issue raised in the instant petition is under active consideration of the Collector and the Collector is expected to pass further orders in the matter. It is also informed that the hearing in identical matters is in progress.

It would be open for the petitioner to appear before the Collector and submit his contentions. The Collector or any other Officer authorized by him shall take appropriate decision in the matter as expeditiously as possible and preferably within four weeks from today.
