The petitioner has moved this public interest litigation, questioning the legality, propriety of the order passed by respondents no. 2 and 3 imposing lockdown in Aurangabad city since 10-07-2020 to 18-07-2020.

Before the order had been issued about imposition of lockdown, there had been sufficient notice to the public at large atleast 3-4 days before, that it would be a stricter lockdown than the then subsisting one. The administration appears to be making efforts.

In the circumstances and also looking at that the lockdown is about to be over from middle of night, we are not inclined to cause any interlude in the subsisting position. 4.

Public Interest Litigation is, therefore, not being entertained and is rejected.
