Shinde, learned counsel for petitioners submits that the petitioners have moved an application before respondent nos.3 and 4 to decide the issue of seniority as per Rule 6(8)(2) of Maharashtra Zilla Parishad District Services (Recruitment) Rules, 1967 and as per the relevant Government Resolution.

Mr. Chate, learned counsel for respondent nos.3 and 4 submits that the authority would take decision upon representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.

In case, the application of the petitioner seeking seniority (Page 53) is pending with respondent nos.3 and 4, then the respondent nos.3 and 4 shall take decision upon it in accordance with law and as per Rule and the relevant Government Resolution expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
