Heard the learned counsel for the Applicant and the learned AGP appearing for Respondent Nos. 1 to 5. 2.

By this Application, the Applicant/Petitioner is seeking stay of an order dated 05/09.12.2024, passed by Respondent No.4, which has been impugned in the Writ Petition. 3.

By the said order passed way back in the year 2014, the prayer made on behalf of the Petitioner for deemed date promotion, has been rejected.

It is an admitted position that the present Writ Petition challenging the said order has been filed almost after nine years. Evidently, there is no urgency in the matter. Further, we find that granting stay of the said order can in no manner inure to the benefit of the Petitioner till this Court comes to a considered conclusion that the Petitioner is entitled to be granted deemed date promotion on the basis of the grounds raised in the Petition.

We find the Application to be entirely frivolous. Accordingly, the Civil Application is dismissed. 6.
