This petition is filed against an order passed by the learned Divisional Commissioner granting stay to the order passed by the learned Collector disqualifying the respondent under section 14 (1) (j-3) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act.

This Court has taken a view in many matters that such orders are necessary to see that the appeal does not become infructuous. In any case, this being interlocutory order, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the order. It is concern of the petitioner that after granting stay for three months the appeal is not decided.

Considering the above, care of the concern of the petitioner can be taken by passing following order :-

ORDER

i) The learned Divisional Commissioner to dispose of the matter on 17.06.2025 i.e. next date scheduled in the application.

ii) All points are kept open. Parties to cooperate in the proceeding.

Iii) The Writ Petition stands disposed off.
