The petitioner is at Serial No.102 in the select/wait list of candidates for the post of Peon under the recruitment drive 2018 conducted by the District Court, Jalgaon. In all, there are 115 candidates enlisted. The wait list indicates that the select/wait list of 115 candidates is valid for only two years.

Our attention is drawn by the learned AGP to the Circular/notice published under the orders of the High Court, dated 11/09/2020, by the learned Principal District Judge, Jalgaon, which indicates that the select/wait list was granted only one year extension till 02/12/2021.

WP 6123-2022 The learned AGP submits that the extension thereafter, has not been granted.

In view of the above, this petition is rendered infructuous and stands disposed off. In the event the select/wait list is given an extension, only then, the petitioner may have a chance as and when his turn comes. Needless to state, if there is no extension, the said list would stand expired.
