1) Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. Heard both the sides by consent for final disposal.

2 Cr WP 592 of 2019 2) The petition is filed for giving direction to the respondents to decide the premature release of the petitioner within time frame. The submissions made show that the petitioner has been behind the bard since 1991. The submissions made further show that the petitioner has completed more than 24 years of imprisonment including remission. The petitioner has made representation to the authorities in 2017 but as yet no decision is taken.

3) In view of these circumstances the petition is allowed. Direction is given to the respondents to take decision on the representation within 30 days from today. Authenticated copy is allowed to both the sides. Copy of the order be sent to the prisoner. Rule is made absolute in those terms.
