This application for intervention has been taken out by the applicant, who is contesting the election to the Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Tadkalas (in short, referred to as APMC), scheduled to be held on 16/04/2017. The applicant seeks to intervene in the writ petition filed for inclusion of the petitioner's name in the Electoral List of the members entitled to vote at the forth-coming elections to the APMC on 16/04/2017. 2.
Mr.Sontakke, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 (original petitioner) has no objection if the applicant is heard to oppose this petition and is also permitted to file an affidavit opposing khs/APR.2017/5078
the petition. For the aforesaid purpose, a copy of the petition has also been made available to the applicant.

In the above view, the intervention application is allowed to the extent that the applicant is allowed to intervene in the writ petition and file affidavit, in any. Therefore, it is not necessary to make the applicant a party to the petition by amending it. 4.
The application is allowed in the above terms. No order as to costs.
