Learned counsel for the petitioners / institution submits that the present grievance is similar to the petitioners in Writ Petition Nos.

2 wp 5255.17+ 12275 of 2016 with connected Writ Petitions, decided on 19.4.2017 at the Principal Seat at Bombay.

Considering the above, we pass following order -

ORDER

I] Respondent no.3 shall examine the claim of the petitioners in the light of observations made by Division Bench of this Court in the case of Uddhav Trimbak Umbare vs State of Maharashtra and Others in Writ Petition No. 9398 of 2012, decided at Bombay, dated 1.2.2013 and pass speaking order in regard to the claim of the petitioners for treating them as full time Assistant Teachers, Shikshan Sevaks.

II] The decision shall be taken by respondent no.3, expeditiously and in case the petitioners are found eligible, the

3 wp 5255.17+ proposals of the petitioners will be forwarded to respondent no.2.

III] The status-quo as it exists today in respect of the employment of the petitioners shall be maintained by respondent no.3 till the decision as aforesaid is taken.

Writ Petitions accordingly stand disposed of. No costs.
