The Petitioners' claim before us is that their land was utilized for building a Village Tank No. 4 at Chaundi, Tq. Dharur, Dist. Beed. The acquisition proceedings have not been completed. Hence, no compensation is paid.

The learned AGP submit that the notification under Section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, has been published in the Gazette 11/17.01.2024. The proceedings would be

By recording the statement made by the learned AGP, on instructions, expecting that the proceedings would be completed within a year, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
