Mr. Pagare, the learned counsel submits that the petitioner is entitled to be appointed on compassionate ground. The father of the petitioner was declared permanently incapacitated for his service by the medical board and retired on medical ground on 10/09/2010. The petitioner has completed his education upto 8 th standard and is entitled to be appointed on compassionate ground in place of his father. The learned counsel relies on the G.R. dated 30/06/1994. According to the
( 2 ) wp 5847.17 learned counsel the rejection of the application of the petitioner is erroneous.

We have also heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader. 3.
Perusing the cause title, it appears that the petitioner is 47 years of age. The petitioner has crossed the upper age limit. The claim of the petitioner is rejected in October, 2015. Today the petitioner is not eligible for being appointed on compassionate ground because of crossing the upper age limit.

In light of the above, the claim of the petitioner cannot be considered.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
