Mr. Gunale, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proposal forwarded by the Headmaster seeking approval to the appointment of teachers on grant in aid post is pending consideration with the Education Officer.

Learned AGP submits that in case the said proposal is pending, the respondent No.2 would decide the same on its own merits.

In the light of above, we pass the following order: i. In case the proposal forwarded by the Headmaster is pending consideration with the respondent No.2, the respondent No.2 shall decide the same on its own merits in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within six months.

ii. Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
