The petitioner is elected as a Member of the Gram Panchayat. Validation proceedings is pending since the year 2020. 2.

We cannot grant the prayer clauses "B" and "D" as upon lapse of period and non-submission of the validation certificate, law takes its own course.

Validation proceedings is pending at the stage of vigilance. In the light of above, we pass the following order:-

ORDER

(i) The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 21st February, 2023. The Committee shall decide the validation proceedings expeditiously and preferably within six months from the date of appearance of the petitioner.
