The petitioner has put forth prayer clause B, which reads as under :- "B) Issue a writ of mandamus or writ in the nature of mandamus to the respondent No.4 Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Ahmednagar to forthwith grant necessary permission to the petitioner Sangh to issue necessary advertisement and to proceed with further process of filling up of one post of peon from Scheduled Category candidate."

It is contended that an application seeking prior permission of respondent No.4/ Education Officer was moved on

*2* 959wp5679o22 17.07.2019. The petitioner desires to recruit a peon. The post is reserved for the backward category considering the reservation roster. Respondent No.4 is neither rejecting the application nor granting it.

We have considered the submissions of the learned advocate for the petitioner and the learned AGP on behalf of the respondents/ State.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off.

Respondent No.4 is directed to decide the said application within a particular time frame, in the event the same is not yet decided and to convey his decision to the petitioner with reference to the application dated 17.07.2019 at page 24 of the petition paper book, on or before 15.07.2022, provided there is no other legal impediment.
