1] The learned counsel for the applicants submit that the maximum punishment under Section 22-B of the NDPS Act is of 10 years and they have already undergone imprisonment of 2 years. The learned counsel for the applicants further submits that in the event the trial does not conclude within 6 months, liberty be granted to the applicant to file fresh application.
