When the matter is called out for final hearing, none appears for the petitioner. On 15th November, 2017 when the matter was called out, none appeared for the petitioner. The Court adjourned the matter for dismissal. On 23rd November, 2017 time was sought on behalf of the State.

Mr. Bankar Patil, the learned advocate for the respondent No. 2 is present, so also the learned Assistant Government Pleader.

The petitioner seeks directions to quash and set aside the constitution of the committee framed as per Government Resolution dated 18.01.2002 for rural construction committee to the extent of appointing the Head Master as Secretary of the Rural construction committee with the duty and responsibility to act as the Secretary and to supervise and administer the work of construction of class rooms and Vasti shala.

The preface to the Government Resolution dated 18.01.2002 itself states that, the essential and quality education to the students aged 6 to 14 has to be provided till the year 2010. The same was basically for the Vasti Shala. Now those who are engaged in the Vasti Shala are subsequently absorbed in regular schools or as para teachers on their satisfying the conditions. 5.
With the passage of time, the purpose of the Government Resolution dated 18.01.2002 stands served and determined. Nothing would survive for adjudication in the present writ petition.

In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of. Rule discharged. No costs.
