Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. With the consent of parties, the petition is taken up for final hearing. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that validation proceeding is pending with the respondent-Scrutiny Committee since November, 2020.

Learned AGP, on instructions, submit that the matter is pending for vigilance with the committee.

In light of that, as far as disqualification of the petitioner for non-submission of validity is concerned, the law will take it own course. No further order is required to be passed in this regard.

The petitioner shall appear before the Scrutiny Committee on 21st February, 2023 and cooperate in expeditious disposal of the proceeding. The Scrutiny Committee shall endeavour to decide the proceeding expeditiously, preferably within four months from the date of appearance.

Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
