The Petitioner is an Urban Credit Co-operative Society. Two applications dated 19.09.2022 and 23.12.2022, seeking construction permission under Section 44 of The Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, are pending with the sole Respondent. The Petitioner submits that the Respondent should at least decide the matters rather than keeping them pending.

In view of the above and considering the request for a decision on the application seeking construction permission, this Writ Petition is disposed off, without issuing notice, with a direction to the Respondent to decide the applications of the Petitioner, by following the due

25-wp-5995-24 procedure laid down in law and arrive at a decision within a period of 90 days. The Petitioner would serve a copy of this order on the Respondents.
