The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that instead of granting status of permanent non-grant basis, self finance is granted. 2.

Proposal to that effect seems to be pending with respondent no. 1 (Exhibit - I). It is being pointed out by the communication dated 01-03-2024 (Exhibit - J), the Director of Education has already addressed the letter to respondent no. 1 in that regard but the decision is awaited.

Writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 1 to take appropriate decision in accordance with law and the policy on the communication (Exhibit - J) dated 01-03-2024, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within six weeks.
