The petitioner was appointed on compassionate ground in place of his father as Peon. The appointment of the petitioner was approved by the Education Officer. Subsequently under the impugned order, the approval granted on 4.6.2013 is cancelled on 10.4.2017 on the ground that at the relevant time, there was ban on

Initial approval order dated 4.6.2013 states that the appointment of the petitioner on compassionate ground as Peon is approved. Ban on recruitment would not apply to the appointment on compassionate ground.

In light of the above, the impugned order is quashed and set aside. The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
