Mr. Gandhi, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are allotted land Gut No. 81 admeasuring 5 Acres 34 Gunthas under the provisions of Maharashtra Agricultural Lands (ceiling on Holdings) Act, 1961. Encroachment existed on the said land. The respondents be directed to remove the encroachment.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that in that case, the petitioners have to approach the Committee constituted under Circular dated 04.05.2012.

In the light of that, the petitioners may approach the Committee / Authority constituted under the Circular dated 04.05.2012. If the petitioners approaches the said Committee / Authority, the Committee / Authority shall take effective steps in accordance with the said circular, expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (4) months from today.

Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
