This matter was heard on 30.04.2024 and a passover was granted to enable the learned AGP to take instructions.

While hearing this matter and considering the issue involved, we called upon the District Collector, Dharashiv to express his reaction to the request of the Petitioner to tender a written apology. The learned AGP submits that if a written apology is tendered, the District Collector would pardon the Petitioner and considering his deputation in the Static Surveillance Team, which is an important check post, he should

In view of the above, the Petitioner would tender a written apology to the District Collector, on or before 03.05.2024. The District Collector would accept the apology. The Petitioner has undertaken that he would work sincerely and diligently.

We make it clear that the above order is passed in the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case and this order shall not be cited as a precedent. 5.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
