The writ petitions are filed by Complainants. They alleged that Applicant / Kamalbai indulged in money lending without licence. The grievance of Petitioners is that the authorities have taken some steps upon their complaints, but they have not completed the procedure, which would result into prosecution of Applicant / Kamalbai. Learned APP upon instructions stated that the authorities would take steps as per the provisions of Maharashtra Money Lending (Regulation) Act, 2014 and if necessary may even file a complaint against Applicant / Kamalbai. In view of this statement, the purpose of filing of writ petitions is over.

Applicant / Kamalbai also moved Criminal Application No.917 of 2015 for stopping the proceedings against her. We are not inclined to entertain her application mainly because so far no action is taken against her. As and when action is taken against her, she would be free to take appropriate steps before the appropriate authority.

Criminal writ petitions are disposed of in terms of prayer clause (B).

Criminal Application No.917 of 2015 also stands disposed of.
