This petition is filed simplicitor for a direction to dispose of Regular Criminal Case No.481/2013 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhule in a time bound manner. 2.

The petitioner, who appears in person, has pointed out that after the presence of the prosecutrix could be secured and her evidence was recorded on 3 December 2021 and she has been partly cross examined by the petitioner, further cross examination is deferred. He submits that the prosecutrix is not attending the trial thereafter.

We do not propose to go into the reasons for such absence or the allegations made. We find that the matter is pending from the year 2013 and is part heard. In that view of the matter, the petition is disposed of. The learned trial court to decide the criminal case as expeditiously as possible and an endeavour shall be made to conclude the same within a period of six months from the receipt here of.
