Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

The petitioner challenges the order dated 12.04.2024, whereby the trial court has not considered the application for the shared parenting for the period of vacation. The learned counsel submits that since the respondent is a teacher the matter is taken up in the evening session and he appeared before the court in the evening session. Since, the date was already given in the matter, the matter has not proceeded. The learned counsel further submits that there is extreme urgency in the matter in view of the fact that the half of the vacation period is already over.

Since the trial court is seized with the matter and I am informed that the matter is placed on 08.05.2024, it would be more

2 10 appropriate that the petitioner presses his application before the trial court rather than in this court to entertain it. 4.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the trial court to decide the application filed by the petitioner at least to the extent of vacation custody of the child as expeditiously as possible, in view of the ongoing vacation.
