These petitions can be disposed of by directing Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 to take decision in the application/s tendered by the petitioner/s, claiming re-termination of compensation payable to them under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from today and it is accordingly directed.

3) On re-determination of amount of compensation, the amount shall be paid to the petitioner/s, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from the date of such determination. 4) With directions, as above, the writ petitions are disposed of.
