The grievance of the petitioner is that the application for rental compensation though filed in August, 2012 is not yet decided. The respondent No. 4 though served is absent.

In case, the application filed by the petitioner seeking rental compensation (Exh. C) is pending then the authority shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, expeditiously and preferably within nine (9) months.
