Perused the affidavit-in-reply tendered on behalf of respondent. It is recorded in paragraph no. 5 of the reply as below : 5.
I say and submit that, at present due to full capacity water storage in Manjra dam, it is not possible to remove silts. However as and when dry situation will arise in future in Manjra dam, office of the present deponent will take necessary steps as per the directives of the Government.
In view of contentions raised in affidavit-in-reply as well as in view of communication dated 17.06.2016 (marked as Exhibit 'X'), nothing survives for consideration in the instant Public Interest Litigation. Public Interest Litigation stands disposed of.
